Watched a fight a few years back on ESPN in which that happened. The could have won the fight, but the little scrawny guy ran and jabbed the whole fight, frusterating the guy who should have won so bad, that all he did was follow him around, so the judges gave the fight to the scrawny guy. When they gave the post fight interview, instead of shaking hands, the guy sucker-punched the scrawny guy, and Kod him in front of everyone. Couldn't believe it, no class what-so-ever. Forget who the fighters were. Anyone have a clue? The scrawny guy who won, was an african-american, and after that fight, he started coloring his hair, maybe pink or yellow. Can't remember his name, or the guy who sucker-punched him.

As for the question in the thread, yes i would go ahead with the fight, and I probably would swing back as a reflex.
Agreed.....That scum bag should be banned.Sign of violence to come unfortunately. It was a charity show for Fire Fighters and Police killed in 911.The chants of "Lock Him up" rained down and they frog-marched his ass off on the spot.Cheap Bittch Move!

He's in prison now. He murdered Max Kellerman's brother.

Amen to that. This may be off topic, but I think, even though this isn't a press conference, this constitutes a sucker punch (note: I think it's safe history has taught us that lying against the ropes is not the safest place when fighting Ray Mercer):

No doubt...Morrison was doing his best vertical Simon Brown at the hands of Mercer. This was foul from Mercer also ,I think Vs. Jeff pegarses ??He was not called Merciless for nothing

Technically no. That's not a sucker punch.

Agreed no Sucker Punch there...Until the ref steps in the bout is still going on...Why risk stepping back and finding out the guy was just off balance and got himself tied up in the ropes...EG Not hurt as bad as he seemed...Ray was not out of line 1 bit...hell it was not even one of his most brutal KO wins...
