How did people have Calzaghe ahead of Pacquaio? In his fight with Hopkins it was much less obvious who won even though both fights were close. And why would anyone have Pavlik so high after his second fight against Taylor is beyond me

    Mayweather
    Pacquaio
    Calzaghe
    Cotto
    Marquez
    Hopkins
    Pavlik
    Wright
Mosley, if he gets by Zab with an easy time he deserves to be higher.
De La Hoya hey I think he still beats most guys.

I like your's best so far I think. It is becoming a very close pick for second spot though. I didn't think Calzaghe or Pavlik deserve to be above Pacquiao but there is an arguement for Cotto imo, not so much based on achievements even as much as how Cotto has looked in his last 3 fights, and the fact that Pac didn't look great in the Marquez rematch. Definetly don't think Calzaghe could overtake either of those two though, based on achievements or ability. Pavlik as well, is just too limited to be called a better fighter than Pac Cotto or Joe imo, though if he keeps KOing top fighters it's hard to use that arguement. I personally wouldn't have Hatton or Winky WRight on the list at all either, unless either can redeem themselves BIG time. Guess I may as well just try and put together my own 10....So,

    1.Mayweather
    2.Pacquiao
    3.Cotto
    4.JM Marquez
    5. Calzaghe
    6. I want to put Joan Guzman fairly high, since Id give him every chance at beating Pacquiao or Marquez, as well as most anyone else from 126-135 the more I see of him.
-From about number 3 on the order could go just about anyway, but especially from here imo, my 6-10 spots. It's too subjective but oh well.
    7. Israel Vasquez
    8.Rafael Marquez
    9.Ivan Calderon
    10. Hopkins

Honourable Mentions: Jorge Linares, Winky Wright(though I suspect he is not capable of performing like he did a couple years back, at any weight therefore maybe not deserving of a top 15 spot.) Oh Christian Mijares, I really like him, but don't know nearly enough of the lower weights to rate him properly, maybe he could've made a top 10 spot.. I'm sure there are a ton of lower weight fighters that are in contention at the least so I won't even try.

He asked how people had Calzaghe ahead of Pacquiao, didn't tell anyone what to think. Seeing as you have Joe at number one though, there isn't much point in this methinks. Since it's a personal choice though, I guess I'll put Emanuel Augustus as my number 2. I like watching him, he must be damn good.

He beat Pac twice with what?.. with weak ass counterpunching? Sorry but imo, fighters who are more aggreesive and inflect bigger damages gets my vote for the win.

Pac sent JMM 4 times to the canvas.

to be fair though in the first fight JMM recovered from a devastating 3 knock down opening round to dominate the rest of the fight and in my eyes take at least 7 of the remaining 11 rounds!!

By the end of the 2nd fight i had it 114-114 dead level even though pac got a ridiculous 115-112 from one of the judges.

JMM can count himself VERY unlucky not to of scored one win over pac in the 2 contests they fought.

PS:As for the guy who has pavlik over calzaghe.......are you serious??
