    4TH OF JULY!!!!

I have had enough of protesters waving the tri colors in my fucking country...if you're here and legal and are proud to be here then shouldn't you wave the AMERICAN flag If you want to be an appreciated part of this country then start appreciating the country or go back to Mexico and celebrate there....there are other options that won't end with a political rant from yours truly

I loved that holiday but it's not the same since the whole ILLEGAL immigration deal. God love our naturalized American citizens from South of the border but I'm sitting this one out fellas.
My grandfather gives me the right to wave the Mexican flag, and celebrate this holiday, he was an illegal immigrant, but he stood up and fought in WWII to gain his citizenship he proudly waved both the Mexican and American flags until the day he died...................

America was built on the backs on illegal immigrant labor.

I can understand that....but did the Irish, Italians, or Germans, or Russians, or Chinese, or Japanese wave their flags around when they wanted to be counted as citizens

You have a right to love your country of origin and I'm not against that at all. My point was more about the protest marches where instead of making the point that they were trying to be seen as LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS they made the point that they were Mexican by waving the Mexican flag and honestly I found that just a little unsettling.

God bless your grandfather for his service, I am 1,000,000 % for giving people the opportunity to become citizens through service in the Armed Forces.

I do not believe people that aren't citizens of this country should be given rights as if they were citizens and I don't agree with the reasons that they march. However, I place the blame of the illegal immigration soley on corporate America, if not for the opportunity, surely they wouldn't be here, they are trying to better their lives, the people that are hiring them are just cutting down the bottom line, if there weren't opportunities there wouldn't be this problem. You have to understand as well, where these marches are happening this area used to be Mexico, there are people here whose famalies were here before the Gadson Purchase.

I agree with you up to the part about corporate America and the part about how it USED to be Mexico.....well Louisiana, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, the Dakota's, and Minnisota USED to be owned by France....and to everyone's surprise no huge French population increase.

1848 and 1853....it's been THAT long since America took the rest of the states.

I love Mexicans but come on....California and Texas and Colorado and New Mexico....it's all America's....we would give you California but we'd have to change our flag

Bottom line is aside from Native Americans we are all illegal immigrants. And I would think that you of all people would be willing to celebrate the French being defeated.

Well speak for yourself, I'm not an illegal immigrant...my people fought in the Revolution and therefore were some of the first people working with the American government that we all know and love. So I doubt they were "illegal" but I get the point everyone is trying to make when they say that.

As for the French, they have a horrible reputation but aside from being lazy and slaves to political correctness, they are pretty freaking cool. I've been to France and pretty much everyone I met was nice.

I'm just fucking with you anyways...yeah I do get a tad upset about the whole illegal immigration thing but hell there's not much that I can do about it. One thing that actually does piss me off are signs in English then Spanish....just learn English please....that is all

All I know is that if it was not for our Latino brothering and Day to Day workers & additions neighbors from across the border(s)......what ever there 'status', we would still be reliving the day after the Landfall down here. The majority of our 'citizens' fled and waited on the Federal Government to do everything for them & rebuild while others just wanted to make a living....have a happy Cinco De Mayo

SweetPea....you're taking more offense to this than Killersheep and honestly I was just giving him a hard time.

Do you just skip over the parts where I appreciate my countrymen who have immigrated from Mexico?

All I ask is that people who want to live in America appreciate it...what is so fucking offensive about that? If you've immigrated from Mexico and want to be recognized as citizens in America then you wave the AMERICAN flag and not the Mexican flag.....it's like the old addage, you win more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. All I'm saying is if those protesters did that then fuck yeah everyone would be for amnesty! And WHY Because it shows they understand America and it's citizens.
