I'd say Kessler UD but Froch has the power to KO him so it's a tough one to call.

Just because one man has power, does not always make a fight tough to call. Froch would have a punchers chance if that's what you meant, but anyone with a pair of eyes who has seen both of these guys should heavily favour Kessler to take him apart.. I mean Froch couldn't slip or parry a shot to save his life, he stands tall with his hands at his waist. I doubt he'll do much of anything with his career personally, he's WAY to easy to hit and Kessler has good power himself, he could easily KO Froch early with that stance.

Where is Tam Seddon?
"If there's a better chin in the world than Pryor's, it has to be on Mount Rushmore." -Pat Putnam.
Mikkel Kessler
If Froch doesnt start having big fights soon he is gonna miss teh boat . I think you cant teach an old dogs new tricks and Froch is now stuck with his poor defence. At the level hes been fighting at he hasnt needed it but he would vs Kess .
Mikkel is a better boxer IMO and would outbox him . Froch is decent can hit fairly hard but I dont see him beating Kess .

Im here, im here. Well I think Kessler has the better fighters under his belt and he cant half go for it like he showed against JC. But Froch has that ability to delieve that one lethal shot that really does bring you into a scrap, its hard for a fighter to go in there and exploit his 'weak' defence from his ring composure. I believe that Kessler wouldnt simply be able to outbox and at some stage in the fight he could do that, but he cant run all night, its not even in his nature to do that. Power for Power both men I feel can deliver a major punch and thats why I think this one will be intresting.
Froch would have done a lot better fight Inkin this weekend to see where he stands with the upperclass fighters. Im not saying this weekend will be a walk over for him, but I think Carl has the tools to stop him.
From what we have seen so far, rightfully so most people will back Kessler, but I'll tell you this, if Froch caught Kessler with a wincing body shot, he would finish him, hes amazing at knockouts finishes and would end it for sure.
I think this will be a very competative and enjoyable fight, but I think my man would stop him.

Froch is to easy to hit,Kessler by tko.
Why would Kessler have to run for 12 rounds, when he couldn't miss a 1-2 off Froch's skull if he tried? Froch would need an amazing jaw to make it far enough into the fight where things could get interesting, but even still, I'm really not sure anyone can be very succesful against world class fighters with Froch's stance, you just can't be that open for everything all the time. I really just can't think of a single fighter who's ever been succesful with dropping their hands that low, without having incredible reflexes, slickness, and defensive instincts. Of which Froch is 0 for 3.
