Every fighter cheats. Hatton cheats, last time I checked holding was as illegal as elbowing and butting. I also seem to recall Hatton landing a well-placed shot to Tszyu's balls, among his many other infractions.
None of that changes the fact that PBF is better than Hatton in every facet of the game. I like Hatton, I was hoping against all logic and reason that he could beat PBF, but if they fought 10 times, PBF would win 10 times, regardless of who the ref was.
I disagree, Floyd only won by cheating and the dodgy ref, if Hatton wouldn't have had the point took off then he wouldn't have started rushing in getting tagged so easy, he lost his focus after the point deduction and yet the shot never even landed

If you read Mayweather's quotes or listen to the HBO interview after the fight you will realise PBF certainly thought Hatton was one of his toughest opponents.

So to dismiss Hatton as a second rate fighter based on a loss to the P4P best, who then comes out to the press to call Hatton a great fighter, is very premature indeed.

Hatton is still the best at 140, however needs to cement this fact with victories over Malignaggi and Witter within the next year.

Hopefully Witter produces a perfomance of note on Saturday, to make the fight with Hatton a massive British soprting event.

I think a big reason Floyd gave Hatton the respect he did after the fight is because he never dealt with a guy who just kept coming forward even when he was getting tagged left and right...Gotta respect a guy that determined
