Yea! I remember watching that on some best of FNF Knockouts or a similar ESPN highlight show. Was a brutal KO and Harris actually looked very capable in that fight.. He was a really inconsistent fighter Harris, when he showed up in shape he was capable of giving anyone a fight and was very dangerous. I remember also thinking he was robbed in his next fight against an old Larry Holmes, have no idea where I saw that fight though..

Wow, just looked up Grimsleys record, his only loss before this fight was his previous contest which was a 12 rd UD he dropped to George Foreman, even winning 3 or 4 rnds by two cards. How the fyack did Big George not startch this man?

It was "Tuesday Night Fights". I also thought Harris beat Holmes that night.

I remember seeing that live on tv. I liked Thunder, he had the punch and the physique, but his chin was about as solid as a champagne glass. Anyone know whatever became of him?

Well he fought under the name of Jimmy Thunder , he was Samoan , i remember his early losses to the likes of Derrick Williams for the commonwealth HW title. Was born James Peau.

Brutal KO. I remember Crawford going 12 with Foreman. So you know Thunder could punch

Crazy to see a guy who went 12 with George Foreman (and foreman landed some real big shows on him too) get KO'd in 2 seconds hahah
