I'll try and catch some of his fights someday, for guys around at the time, was there alot of expectation for him going into the US fights?
I remember reading his record a long time ago, but didn't acually notice his KO record at the time.

One point, if like Jones, Hatton had to Box the same day as the weigth in He would have been a Welter. Now you have a level playing field

Would Hatton beat McCrory, Curry and Laing at Welterweight? Hatton is far from a proven Welterweight, during Jones time he would not have been champion. Trust me, Curry would have torn him apart faster than Maywether did.Originally Posted by hattonthehammer
