Don't get me wrong Calzaghe is undefeated and the credit is there, but Warren has ruined his career forcing him to fight a string of limited opponents, he could have done a lot more with the talent that he has.

And for the one who said Hopkins is in top 5 p4p your crazy, he barely had 6 rounds in him against Calzaghe, he looked stronger but all he wanted to do was hold and fake, Bernard has been one of the best fighters of this era but I am sorry my friend he is finished, unless he want to beat up Welterweight Felix Trinidad as well to prove he is still up there.

That's from boxrec, their statistics calculation is no replacement for reality.
Stick with the ring. I still have Mayweather and PAC ahead of Calzaghe, but there isn't much of an argument of putting Calzaghe ahead of Cotto aside from longevity, if Cotto keeps beating the level of competition he's been demolishing (save Gomez) he will surely pass Calzaghe in 2009.

I think if Joe was to defeat Pavlik and Jones Jr he would have a good claim at the top spot, but not now.

By the time he does that Mayweather vs. Cotto should happen emphasis on should and the winner of that fight is p4p number 1. IF PAC, Cotto and PBF lose, AND Calzaghe beats Jones and Pavlik he can make a definate argument for it.

Yea I'm gonna go with Ring and the majority and place Joe 3rd... Mayweather and Pac are stellar and Calzaghe fits perfectly at 3rd mixing with good company

Mayweather is #1 PFP for now and the forseeable future. Pacquiao is #2 and deserves to be above Calzaghe, considering how much more impressive his resume is.

Calzaghe is either #3 or #4. I think someone could reasonably leave Marquez at #3, considering that Pac-Marquez II was basically an even fight.
