I'll say this much though, his loss to Hartley wasn't as embarrassing as Ricky Hatton's loss to Floyd imo.

Hatton was giving it loads in the runup to that fight and even flipped Floyd the finger and gave him the wanker gesture during the weigh in, doubtless feeling hard because of all his thousands of fans backing him up.

In the ring though it was an humiliation which ended with Hatton knocking himself out on the ring turnbuckle in the 10th round.

Not even Zelenoff can top that.

Bilbo, thats just off the radar mate! Hatton was bigging himself up but gave a pretty decent account of himself. He lost to the best fighter on the planet and outside of his own comfort zone. No shame in that. He took shots and kept on bouncing back and he actually tried to mount an offense. It was ineffective but he controlled the ring at times in there.

Zelenoff is a bum and to be honest is quite frightening because he is so completely lacking in self awareness. Hatton could fart on him and he would quit crying foul play!!

Seriously though....even if it is because people are mocking him, taking the piss, and generally enjoying seeing the bigmouth who is a monstor for his weight get his ass handed to him on a platter, with a side of green veg and horseradish, this was much more of a spectacle than Oscar's dull shutout of Forbes. I still haven't found the motivation to watch that yet, but I've watched this fight five or six times at least.
