    All good thanks Scrap

Maybe after I've got this fixed up my boxing will be only 40 % crap rather than 80 % crap

    I'm looking forward to it!

When you throw a cross especially after a jab you shift your weight and pivot your body....you slingshot your arm through the punch...it's almost like throwing a baseball only you don't follow through like you're on a pitching mound.

I do get the idea of the movement Lyle. I'm not sure my problem has been knowing that the body needs to go into the cross just having the posture which allows me to put it into the cross.

I think it is because my head was too far forward a lot of the time. Maybe you can see what I mean if you try it yourself. Compare pivoting your body around with good relatively upright posture and your head balanced properly chin in - to leaning forward with your head and chin sticking out.

The later seems to be restrictive. It feels like you can't put your body in to the same extent. I think I was trying to put my body into the punch in this restrictive posture and just getting frustrated because i couldn't do it.
