The pole wasn't exactly a high-calibre opponent though was he? He barely threw anything back. I think Froch is telling himself he's world champion material, but I don't think he is.. not by a long shot.

Froch is a good fighter and i know he didnt get up for this fight ( after the cancellation ) but he has way to many bad habits, and i think he has a very high opinion of himself , to be honest im sick of him running his mouth of , i just want him to take on a world class fighter.

Why dont u think he is though? I know the pole wasnt the best fighter, but if you didnt realise, Inkin pulled out twice, prior to this fight and this resulted in a change of fighter twice. I think he looked very strong last night, and that pole had a fucking chin on him. We will see where Carl goes after this, but he looked awesome last night.

Well as Froch said at the end he was in there to put on a good knockout. He wasnt trying to box the guy, he was looking for big punches to get him out of there quick. If he had faught, he usually ups the pace in the later rounds or if he finds an opening early. Inkin is a totally different kettle of fish compared with the pole, but even so, some of those shots were very hurtful and powerful and I believe if anybody got caught with them they would fall. Accuracy is a good thing for carl, he doesnt waste needless energy at the start and picks his shots well. That can cause a lot of problems for fighters in the future too. His defence wasnt really tested, but as I have said before he knows his range very well and has very slick footwork. Its a good form of defence to have for a fighter and I believe with his powerhouse stlye he will be able to work everybody in the weight class. Although the hands need to be higher, he is so far doing well. Its easy for people to say he has a weak defence, but has hasnt ever been hurt for his defence to be pointed against. He isnt doing too bad at 23-0 19 kos if you ask me.
Hes a great prospect and he showed that again last night. He is motivated and going places this year, keep it up Frochy !!!!!
Yeah I was impressed by Froch last night . You could see the force in his punches . I'd still be worried though if he fought Kessler with his hands down like that cuz everytime he trades his chin is way up in the air. He can get away with it at this level but not in world class.
Still a good powerful performance though .

I think Carl talked well last night, seems to have toned down the bullshit a bit. he needs to arrange a fight for August IMO against just anyone, not just go straight after JC cos he ain't gonna get it, the best way to force the issue would be to just set up an event and make an offer that can't be refused to someone like Berrio, Andrade, anyone in the genuine top ten cos he is still yet to face one (I reckn Andrade is a real fough fight for him, but they're the guys he should be facing if he's genuine world level.).
The opponent last night was garbage, seriously, with this guy and Thoma Bonins record they must be counting tough guy contests over there in Poland on proffesional records. He had absoutley nothing to offer, though he did take his beating for 5 rounds without looking for a way out which should be commended.

Yes I agree a top ten fighter is needed. Although he was going to fight Inkin last night, I personally dont think Carl should waste his time with him now. Inkin has screwed him around a lot and he needed that fight last night. Lets hope he does fight a high profile fighter next because he is definatly at their level now. Imagine Miranda-Froch, that really would be a powerhouse brawl.
