When you manage to make a substantive point I'll reply.

My post of Barack saying what he truly thinks to a room full of millionaires speaks for itself.......no really, just press play, it speaks

As for Unions their only purpose now'a'days is to keep people (who deserve it) from getting fired. The UAW is a MAIN reason the US can't produce a profit from making cars. Ethanol is worthless, there is plenty of oil and if we were to buy from Brazil what do you think OPEC would do to the price of oil if something as crappy as ethanol was competing with it?? What OPEC ALWAYS DOES raise the prices OR cut production.....OR maybe have some "attacks" on pipelines

The UAW has pensions to pay for and can't turn big profits because of it.

I wouldn't know about anyone paying to keep ethanol production down...I know I as a tax payer pay to subsidize farmers to grow just corn for ethanol production. And ethanol is worthless as fuck it's a horrible fuel and it's not efficient to produce.

Once again, who taxes Exxon/Mobil....larger priofits = more money for the government

So you suggest the way to fight Opec is to deny any other sources of alternative fuels

While I think that corn ethanol is a losers game, I am not convinced (and am no expert of course) that other sources of ethanol aren't viable. While ethanol is an inferior product, if it is cheap enough I have no doubt that it can work.

I think you have stated a gross overstatement of unions Lyle. For someone that was a political science major, you should know that very few broad, over-reaching statements are thoroughly correct. Unions interact in a variety of complex ways with our changing economy, and just by pointing out UAW, which probably is the largest union, is unfair.
Blanket statements of any topic are generally incorrect.

As for the "attacks on pipelines"; when people succumb to fear in such a silly way, they might as well give up.

The way to stick it to OPEC is to produce our own oil.

Biodesiel would be the way to go if you were going to make your own fuel.

I was a PSYCHOLOGY major... Unions have done good in the past but have done nothing lately
