    You didn't comment on my theory about what prevents me from putting my shoulder into my cross.

    So are you saying that you don't believe head angle and position have anything to do with it?

    Nope the head position has less to do with it than you think. If you are leaning forward watch Miguel Cotto and Joe Frazier and Mike Tyson throw right crosses those guys were very good at it.

    They wer all hook guys, the right was only used to get in position for a big LH that would come from below the opponents hip.

    Check out G-man for one of the best right crosses ever employed. Also Alexis Arguello and Morales

    I know they are all hook guys but they used the cross effectively...Joe's right cross to the stomach was one of his money punches....you use the cross to open up the hook.


    They also leaned forward as Sharla was explaining was her problem

    Lyle the head has everything to do with it.

    They leaned forward for the purpose of their hook, if they didn't have such sublime power in their left hook, leaning over would have been seen to be a huge detriment.
