This is actually one of the best fights ever and certainly one of my favorites, Olivares IMO was winning this fight and fought extremely well against the taller Arguello, he gave it his all in the 12th round only to fade and go down in round 13.

I shit you not Thir Man, yesterday I watched my Olivares fights and your name came to mind as I know how much you enjoy his fights and your one of the very few people on here who mentions him often.

I watched Olivares-Alexis, Olivares-Castillo, Olivares-Rose and Olivares-Kanazawa II oh! and also vs. Pimentel.

Olivares was such a great inside fighter who broke down his opponents systemtically.

Thanks Mick, I just love his style, his take no prisoners approach to his boxing, imagine what a drawcard he would be today. He would be a huge PPV attraction. The Pimental fight is a gem and credit to Pimental who nearly had Olivares in the 6th.
