I wouldnt have flipped but last week he was denegrading Diego Coralles and then he says Miranda has a dodgy chin and fights like Mayorga... WTF

ICB cleared it all up I thought in his comment above.... I wish this guy would at least have the meddle to back up his comments
So because someone doesnt agree with you, you feel it neccesary to start shouting your mouth off

its spelt "degrading" and when on gods earth did i once degrade Diego Corrales who i have nothing but the upmost respect for...

oh thats right i said that hatton on his day could beat him.

So because the guy is no longer with us you find it completely unneccesary for someone to have a valid opinion about what would of been one of his potential rivals??

not only have you proficiently exercised your ability to get things ass over tit you now feel it is your duty to demand explanations from someone with a opinion??

    muppet
Denigrate denigrate - Definitions from Dictionary.com ..... Excuse the spelling

one of the bases for your argument is that Coralles lost to a guy you never heard of(Joshua Clottey) which consequently enough the fight took place at Welterweight.... Clottey is a natural Welter who has more than decent power and speed. Clottey was 160 after rehydration Coralles fought a Middleweight that night.

So you wanna slag him for losing get your facts straight pal Clottey is a Top 10 ranked Welterweight and it was Coralles 1st fight at Welter after fighting at 130-135 his whole career

what you want me now to have a sensible argument with someone who not several posts ago attempted to make me look a fool and has now come off looking like a grade A twat for it??

If you disagree with someone fine
If what they say has annoyed you so much come back and argue with them telling them your opinions.
DONT - c**t someone off just because theyve had their opinion on a boxing forum and then attempt to lynch them over lying about something they quite obviously have not said.

Ive not had a single beef with anyone since ive been on here and find this to be as friendly a boxing forum as im likely to come across.

But you seriously crossed a line and im more than happy to let you know what i think of you for it!!

You can get um on DVD's so they'd be available over the net, my family like them, but I think it's just ridiculous.
But I hate it because it's a little like Monty Phython. Hate that genre.
It's funny because though I'm American, I have loved the Monty Python stuff. Meaning of Life was awesome, IMO. + I used to, still do really, love Benny Hill. Old school I know, but that was some funny sh#t. Alot of the other stuff from across the pond I've seen is just alien to me.
I wouldn't bother, I think Little Briton would be alien for americans also. It was funny at first, but then got very repetative and predictable. Same characters, same jokes and puns.

    But thats just my opinion!

Well I guess you told me tough guy... You have yet to answer the important questions posed to you on the subject...

Miranda has a dodgy chin... How so?

Miranda is like Mayorga in style and stance... How so?

Why Coralles being beat by a 160lb fighter have any bearing on the outcome of a Hatton fight at 140?

Man I knew it was the end of the line when Corralles fought Clottey. Clottey was just too strong and big. It would be the end of the line for Hatton too I suspect.

    Hattongothammered should be more appropriate
That picture is from Little Britain Legion, its comedy sketch show in the UK.
I wonder if it is shown on the BBC here in the States? Sounds pretty funny.

I would like to give my two cents regarding Clottey vs Corrales, you may or may not know this, but Corrales for his whole career was around Super Featherweight, Lightweight. He only lost to great fighters at those weight classes like Castillo, Mayweather, Casamayor, all fantastic boxers in different ways. I think its little unfair to Corrales bringing up his loss to Clottey, Corrales moved up two weight classes to fight Clottey, and Clottey is very good fighter his only two losses were to Carlos Baldomir, and he was beating Baldomir clearly until he was DQ, and his other loss was too one of the best Welterweight's in recent years Antonio Margarito, and he was doing well in his fight with Margarito until he broke his hand, but Margarito also had problems before the fight so i will be fair there. But Clottey is a solid fighter and Corrales moving up two weight classes and going the distance with Clottey says a lot about Corrales heart, will.

hey I completely agreeing with you. I wasn't taking anything away from Diego at all, It was just too big of a step. Also this could come back to praising Margarito somehow??

Also dont forget that Clottey rehydrated to 160... That was bad news for Coralles from the get go

agree with a lot of what you say mate, but...

corrales wasnt ordered to fight clottey, nobody forced him to take the fight on at a different weight level

And even so as shown many times in the past great fighters can adapt at different weight levels, a true mark of a champion is someone who can move up 1-2 weights and win a world title.

Nobody is disrespecting the great man and i for one dearly miss diego and the spirited performances he gave every time he was in the ring. But to claim that a fighter can have a contest scratched from his record just because it wasnt at his ideal weight is absurd.

Thats not the argument here.... Now that stuff has cooled down my Question is How can you use that fight as an example of how you think Hatton would breeze thru Coralles....

I got news for you Clottey whips Hattons ass 7 days a week and 2x on Sunday there is not a snowballs chance in Hell Hatton beats Joshua Clottey

I understand how great fighters move up weight classes and win titles but they dont usually jump 2 weightclasses in one shot to do it and to say Coralles lost to a guy you dont remembers name is a little condescending and denigrateing when everyone knows what kind of threat Joshua Clottey is..
