I got to disagree with you Lyle. Nirvana and Pearl Jam were better than 95% of the crap those record companies were trying to sell us. Soundgarden, Gin Blossoms, and Soul Asylum were alright mostly just rode the coat tails of the genre. The crap that was coming out before these guys was crap. They helped put good music back on the radio, instead of having all of that 80's pop crap stuffed into our ears.
