Yeah I got into swimming fairly intensely for a while after I injured my knee. 'd swim everyday and sometimes twice a day because it was all I could do without being limited.

It was a great feeling being able to train as hard and as fast as I wanted to after being in denial about being injured and trying to do all my other training while hobbling!

I definately recommend it and if possible a club sort of environment with people to chase and tips on your style etc will keep it interesting.
