I got 1 for mah boi Pac.
He still gets off balance everytime he throws the full blast straight left. It's easy for his opponents to counter him if he misses. But I'm glad he's doing a little improvements by being elusive now...

Well Mayweather he like run too much.......![]()
Marco Barrera -
He didnt always take the opponent seriously and would enter the ring not 100% focused ie Pac , Jones
Lennox Lewis -
He didnt always take the opponent seriously and would enter the ring not 100% focused ie Rahman , Mcall
I think in both instances in the rematches they proved that the 1st fights were a fluke.
That was a joke for have some sense of humor , but for me Tito Trinidad have just one style that is easy to read , he dont have any others technicals for fight...................![]()
Floyd Mayweather Jr: not enough movement, especially laterally. I think he is too smart on the ropes that he will never slow down enough to be a sitting duck off of the ropes because he also has great technical defensive skills, but he shouldn't on the ropes so much.
Roy JOnes Jr: I have always hated that he doesn't have to be forced to get on the ropes. Since a certain point at lightheavywieght Roy decided nobody could hit him off the ropes because he was so fast, until lately, but he is changing his style.
Miguel Cotto: doesn't box as much as he should, though he did a lot more against Mosley and Gomez
Manny Pacquaio: why didn't he throw more 1-2's? I see that he has problems forcing a specific distance or adapting to distance in fights, and that he didn't show the defensive improvements he did against Morrales and Barrera against Marquez in their second fight... he also went back to just loading up the left hand without setting it up, and without following it up.
Bernard: Too old
Winky: I still think he has a few great fights left in him, but right now in the divisions he is in he's on the back burner where he shouldn't be, but obviously lack of power has always been his flaw, and gasing out late.
Joe Calzaghe: I know he had hand problems, but where did that power go he used to have? And I have always felt he would have problems with skilled movers, and B-Hop confirmed that.
Yuriorkis Gamboa: too cocky, and lacks concentration at some points.
Wladimir Klitschko: has had the tendency not to step on the gas lately in fights.
Kessler, hand picks his fight, and when he was on the big stage he hurt his hand
Hopkins, the tanks empty man,he came out burning rubber against Calzeghe, and lost steam in the second half of that fight
Both Klitschko's,plodding and suspect hearts
Mahfood,Valerie should really learn to fight away occaisionally,I mean her fights are alot of fun to watch, but she takes way more punishment then she should
ricky hatton:
foolhardy fighter that insists on fighting every opponent in the same manner.
Have seen ricky right from the very VERY start and remember the good old days when hatton was actually a very good mover of his feet and liked to slip and move the jab every so often.
nowadays its all about sheer agressiveness and relying on solely outworking his opponent.
James Toney - this one is obvious. seems to think he's above showing up to a fight in shape. terrible junkfood addiction.
Wlad: He starts too slow, he holds back early in fights and seems to carry fighters sometimes, and he doesn't do well when he's pressured although he has gotten better.
Cotto: He's easily drawn into a brawl, he wants to impress his Puerto Rican fans with KO's and presses too much and gets in trouble for it, he's an excellent boxer but rarely wants to use that to set up his punches....he too has done better in the last few fights
Jermain Taylor: He has an offense that only works on the outside and a defense that he only wants to use on the inside, he tries too hard to land the homerun right cross, and he doesn't let his hands go enough.
Lyle I thought the opposite for Cotto against Sugar Shane.
"If there's a better chin in the world than Pryor's, it has to be on Mount Rushmore." -Pat Putnam.
You beat me to it Bro, I was about to say that.
If PAC can improve his balance when he tries to recover from his lunging straightleft he is pretty much a Tank.
At this stage in PAC's career there is not much to change from him anymore other than maintain his top conditioning and improve his balance.
All in all though he is much improved:
1. His defense improved he was blocking alot of JMM's punches with his gloves.
2. Though still lacking his balance has improved as compared to before.
3. Right hand is big time improvement.
PAVLIK:
Permeable Defense and sometimes plodding.
COTTO:
Not perfect defense but who has, other than PBF![]()
I disagree a little about Pacquaio, I think that Pacquaio's defense looked horrible in many parts of his fight against Marquez, he was getting hit by punches he shouldn't have many times in that fight. One other thing I noticed was that Pacquaio needs a lot of space to throw that left hand, and Marquez would move back, then come forward just a little too close for Pacquaio to throw that left hand like he wants to which in the early middle rounds I felt stopped Pacquaio from throwing very many punches.
Pavlik - has a bad tendency to leave his right hanging out there after throwing the money punch. It's almost like he stops to survey the damage - and forgets to keep his defense tight.
