What I was saying is that if you had Floyd number 1 right now and Pac number 2 then I don't see why that would change if Floyd beats ODLH and Pac beats Diaz cause beating ODLH is clearly a much greater accomplishment than Pac beating Diaz.

Whether you think Pac should be number one right now just based on overall achievements is up to you, I wouldn't agree but that's up to you.

I never made a big deal about this fight, I just watched on the sidelines while I read and heard various posts.

So when Pacquiao beat Diaz 'very convicingly' I just thought now I'm sure Pacquiao is the BEST Pound 4 Pound fighter at the moment, INCLUDING Mayweather.

I love hearing some saying how Diaz is not a big challenge and even how some said Daiz is gonna give Manny sone real problems.

All I say is Manny Pacquiao done the Job!

He was real good the best in the world at the moment.

LOL, he wasn't a big challenge, I said that months ago on this thread and it was a brutal mismatch. Pac doesn't need to dominate a guy like Diaz to show his greatness.

It wasnt as big as fighting a JMM but it was a feat by itself by knocking a guy like David Diaz out cold. David Diaz was stopped by Kendall Holt but not in this fashion and IMO it was a premature stoppage(Holt fight) so technically David Diaz was never really knocked out.

Pacquaio looked very good. He could have been sub par and still won but to his credit he was sharp and beat the crap out of Diaz. But I never once thought of Diaz as a big challenge, that's all I'm saying.

I was watching the Cotto Vs. Mosely fight this weekend and Emanuel Steward asked Max Kellerman "if Mayweather refuses to fight the winner of this fight, do you still consider him to be the best P4P?" Kellerman said "Yes I do" and Emanuel Steward was not pleased with his answer.

Pacquiao looked great against Diaz, similar to Mayweather Vs. Gatti. Pacquaio has taken on and beaten Morales, Barrera and Marquez who I accept were not at their absoloute best (apart from Marquez) but all 3 at the time were considered top ten P4P fighters, Marquez still is.

I can't say the same about De La Hoya and Boldimor, yes Hatton is considered top ten P4P, but that is the only one.

Alot of 'experts' were already stating that Pacquiao is the best P4P even when Mayweather had not retired, this was partly due to inactivity of Mayweather.

I mean Pacquiao is really something, he now is willing to fight Valero (who I know is unproven but still posses KO power) without any hesitation, he then wants to fight Hatton, who I fully believe Pacquiao will KO in 11 rounds.

I can already say when the time comes to compile the variuos lists of the Greatest Fighters/Boxers of All-time, Pacquiao will be rated higher than Mayweather and rightly so!

I can agree with some of those points, EG I do not think PBF is the P4P best fighter this sport has to offer right now.

On a P4P basis I wouls pick Manny Pacquiao over Floyd if both fought in the same weight class (hence the P4P basis comment because it is just not a fight that is possible to be fair on a size differential alone)

I also agree on the wins over DLH and Hatton not being that much of an accomplishment considering the stage of DLH career and Hatton having as much defensive skill as Ricky Ricardo has business being an English teacher...
