    Woods vs Tarver

For me it was Tarver - Woods cuz the Brit seemed to lack the belief that he could actually win . Witter vs Bradley 2nd .
It has to be Witter vs Bradley for me this was supposed to be a good showcase to set up a fight with Hatton, but Witter comes in with no fire in his belly and looked utter garbage very disappointing from Witter.

What about Enzo Mac vs Haye. He and Frank promised something he knew he couldn't deliver. As soon as I saw how he looked coming to the ring I knew it would last.

He must have let down alot of his fans, and pretty much all of Wales that night?

Bit of a stupid thing to say he let all his fans down and let the whole of Wales down, thats crazy, and only something someone would say who has never been in the ring. Enzo was nervous and he got caught, it happens, he has not let anyone down. He fought a bad fight, he is only human.

Woods performed the worst out of the the 4 I think, Rees was lucky to get a title and was never a LWW. Hatton got outclassed by P4P best so not really too bad, Witter was a disappointment, but again fought the wrong fight. Woods just didn't seem to be there to win.

I got to agree wth total boxing looking from a Welsh point of veiw...alot of us had big hope's for Enzo only for that to happen..that was a real dissapointment to me.

As far as looking at it from a british point of veiw I was real pissed Witter lost.I felt Witter deserved a shot at Hatton all he had to do was look good against Bradley and he could have set himself up instead he ended up looking like a fool.

I went to the Haye/ Enzo Mac fight and bumped into a lot of Mac fans who had made the trip from Swansea. When pushed they thought that Mac was really up against it (the ones I spoke to anyway) and realised that the fight could end like it did.
I do not think Mac let anybody down. He got caught then just as he was recovering got caught again.
Some of Enzo's fans complained about the stoppage but the stumbling was more dramatic when your were actually there. Right stoppage, no embarrasement for Enzo.

The most disappointing for me is Witter. Rees was in over his head, Hatton was fighting the P4P number 1, Woods was fighting somebody who many picked to beat him anyway, maybe not in the manner that it happened but Bradley was a 5-1 underdog against Witter. Witter did what he normally did, got dropped and did not push the fight for the victory. he fannied around trying to pot shot and got outworked and caught with the bigger shots.

I ain't mocking the guy. He was just out of his depth with Haye. I guess it was over pretty quick to get going, and with the whole build up, expect fireworks. Warren and Setanta bigged him up so much, just like Hatton was against Floyd and it was exactly the same. Alternatively if Haye would have lost he would have let some people down who were backing him.

And to say what I said about letting people down is stupid, well that is the title of the thread!

I don't like lumping Ricky's loss in with that, because there was nothing wrong with his performance IMO, he just lost to a better fighter.

I would have to pick Junior Witter. I was looking forward to a fight between him and hatton and actually believed he would give Ricky a lot of trouble. Then he blew it and looked like absolute garbage in the process.

I was really disappointed in Wood's performance as well. He just didnt show up to fight, he was just happy to be there and go to a decision.

Witter was the biggest let down for me. The others have no shame in loosing their fights but Witter performed poorly and I was never ever convinced he could beat Hatton but at least we would have got another battle of Britain before Hatton would have wiped him out.

No one should be voting for Hatton here.

He actually did better than most people would have expected and managed to win 2 rounds or so.

    I voted Hatton.

Come on people, think back on the hype of the fight and how Hatton was suppose to maul and bust up Hatton. Remember his body attack was suppose to do a number on PBF and the inside fighting....

    Well....

I'm with you. Hatton went out on his shield. He did ok the first half of the fight and he gave PBF problems. It was exciting and an all out fight. I actually enjoyed a PBF fight. Hatton made me enjoy watching a fight with a guy I can't stand or usually stand watching. Hatton could have easily let off the gas and cruised to a decision loss. He was trying to win and forced PBF to fight. If PBF let Zab off the hook, he would have let Hatton. Floyd comes to win boxing matches, not fights. He would've been content to cruise to a unanimous decision. Ricky wouldn't let him, and he got ko'd for it. Too bad, but not a let down of a fight or effort. Just a let down if you really thought Hatton was invincible.

Woods by a mile. He was pathetic. For some strange reason he seemed to believe Tarver was Roy Jones from 2002.

Hatton did well against Floyd. I expected him to be KO'd faster.

Rees doesn't belong in world class. He fought his best fight against Kotelnik.

Witter lost to a young - 10 years his junior (no pun) - hungry, unbeaten fighter. Hardly a shock.
