Honestly how far off was he compared to the Uraunga fight/?? I thought he looked very similar to that. Clearly winning, but not sharp.

Also I am sure you have talked about this in previous pages on this thread, but Oscar just makes me sick. everything he says is just bullshit. "I will win." Yank yank.
Like the Boss says in Reservoir Dogs not to listen to the gut shot Tim Roth, "it will just be more bullshit."
Then the announcers talk about how he never avoided anyone. Yet they forget to mention WINKY. He also avoided getting up in the B-Hop fight to take his whipping like a man. And someone who never avoided anyone would find as worth an opponent as Steve Forbes.![]()

Just got back from the fight.
How hurt was he?
To me in the 8th (i think) he looked on his way down but then seemed to recover really quickly. Got tagged a few more times in the 10th i think but didn't look to be in a bad way. Hard to tell when you're there.
Anyway from what i could see, he looked ok for his comeback fight. Lazcano was very game. More of a nuisance than anything.
Looked like he was breaking Lazcano's will but he couldn't quite get him out of there.

Ive just finished watching the fight now. Hatton fought pretty well out there. He went twelve hard rounds and outworked Lazcano in each of them. It wasnt a perfect display but for a first fight back after a KO loss it was good enough.
Hatton boxed pretty effectively in there but was reckless at times. But then again when isnt he? He gets tagged in every fight. Some of this talk of Hatton being in trouble is over the top IMO. This is boxing, not ballet. Hatton gets tagged and comes on back. Not a bother.
Going by this form Hatton will walk through Malignaggi and probably try to bust him up worse than Cotto did to prove a point. Hatton fought 12 at a decent pace for the first time in a while which was good. His body work was sharp and he was throwing more effective combinations. Ricky does need to sharpen up a little more though. He is still smothering himself too much when he could step back and come back in with more effective combos. And he needs to watch some of those wild hooks that are a mile off...cant get too careless.
I think part of the wildness was because Ricky was eager to impress. To an extent he did, but he needs to continue to refine his skills as he moves on from this.
Wow Hatton got some real shots by Lazcano in those pic......
And about Paulie the fight was very close SD Hmmmmm , i didnt see that fight , but was real close that decision ?.............![]()

Well put Miles. I don't think it was horrendous and Lazcano obviously had a lot of fight in him I think he comes out of this with a lot more credit then he went in with. I would like to see him face Lamont Peterson.
Just like what I predicted, HAtton would win by UD.
I have observed that a fighter usually wins by decision (if he wins) after a lose (especially after a TKO). It's really hard to regain the confidence of knocking people when you have been knocked out in your previous fight.![]()

" Spectaculars pics Diane " Hatton look very bad , i never seen Hatton like that , even when was KO by Mayweather........................![]()
Wow I didn't notice Hatton got beat up that bad, to me Lazcano didn't land any big punchs,.. okay maybe 1..
