Agreed. That would give him a massive amount of leverage & most likely a truckload of courage to get in with Floyd if he devastated Gatti...but I still think that all roads for Hatton end at Floyd.
im not disagreeing with that conclusion... its pretty much the way my thinking has been heading for a good while. i dont expect the fight to happen in the near future. its more than likely more than a year a way, and its going to build into a true super fight in every meaning of the word. maybe floyd will beat oscar and then make another money fight. in the meantime hatton has a win over the gatti: baldomir winner and then beats some other name. then the fight could very well happen....but yes, the roads lead to that path and i think hatton does need it somewhat more than PBF. but ultimately the expectations will lead to money and floyd will take the fight.....then we have the fight so many of us have wanted....
