He was just coming off a loss and he was probably really nervous with all the fans coming to see him, and mentally his confidence would of been shook after the Mayweather fight, taking all that into account i think he done well. I thought his combinations were good, and his body punching looked to be back to its old sharpness considering it wasn't there in the Mayweather fight. I think he got caught because he was too over anxious to please the fans IMO. But he does need to work on defense when he leaps in and leaves his chin in the air he is playing dangerous game, and he won't be able to get away with that all the time like Mayweather proved, but other than that i think it was a solid performance.

I make Hatton the favorite against all the title holders at 140 except against Torres which is 50-50 based on Torres power and Hatton's leaky defense. Lets take a look at these so called "top 140 title holders" shall we ?? Paulie has looked garbage in his last two fights he struggled against a fighter he shut out the first time, Paulie has no power and hasn't showed any of his old form in sometime, i really don't see how you can't have Hatton the favorite in that one. Bradley is just goodish at best he hadn't fought anyone in the top 20 prior to the Witter fight, and i didn't think he looked that good in Witter fight IMO. It was just Witter was so bad rather than Bradley was good, Bradley is a tough fighter but limited and i can't see how someone as green as Bradley is going to beat Hatton at this stage in his career. Kotelnik is a solid fighter but again goodish at best im in disbelief if you have Kotelnik as a favorite against Hatton. The only real title holder i see Hatton losing to is Torres, because like i said earlier he has the power to turn out Hatton's lights so it will be interesting, and Hatton will have to seriously tighten up his defense if he faces Torres.
Do you not think Torres only looked such a hard hitter because Cotto's chin was pretty weak at 140?

I know Torres had a solid gold KO ratio but that was mostly in Columbia.
Well im not just basing it off Cotto fight i've seen few of Torres fights and yes he is a big puncher, and has the kind of power to put Hatton in serious trouble. Well lets put it this way Ono he is the only 140 fighter that has the power to possibly to stop Hatton, im not saying he will but its good possibility considering how leaky Hatton's defense is. It doesn't matter if most of Torres KO's are from Columbia, some of the greatest P4P punchers of all time had a lot of padding as well but you cannot deny there power, Carlos Zarate comes to mind.
I'm having a hard time thinking of a fighter from Columbia that isn't heavy handed. Yes I agree Torres has genuine power probably the most power at 140 currently to be fair.
