Yea I don't get that reply either hatton. Trying setting your google news to UK child abuse, or USA child abuse, or Canada child abuse...and watch the shitload of truly sick stuff that floods your inbox. I did once for about a month for a project I was writing, and I could hardly sleep from reading it...and it wasn't an Asian thing.

Also, as a culture, try looking at the respect differences between asian cultures and say yours or mine and see how the elderly are treated. That might open your eyes a bit also.
