I will in fact take it a step further to illustrate my point. Paedophilia is against the law because it is an exploitation of an adult against a child. A child does not have the proper reasoning skills or ability to make a judgement as to what may be right or wrong. The adult exploits that for personal fucked up reasons. It isn't much different given the difference in intellect between human and animal.

I think it's rightly illegal to have sex with animals in the wild, and other people's pets but if you own that animal then you have every right to show it some special tenderness.
