Help me out here when Kimbo was in the guillotine... did he tap or was he just doing a thumbs up? Cause I could swear it looked like he tapped on Thompsons arm. I find it fishy they never bothered to replay that part. Also, the ref was too quick to stand them up at one point when Thompson had side control... not even 10 sec and ref stands them.... Those announcers tend to blow everything out of proportion... Comparinng Kimbo to De La Hoya made me laugh so hard I was about to get an asma attack. Thank god it wasn't Roegan lol.

So Kimbo beat Thompson. Big deal. Thompson is just a big ass freak with "an alien life form in his ear" rofl. The only thing that fight proved was that he had a tiny bit more gas then Alien life form... Which is quite bad.

The rest of the cards were pretty good putting aside the stoppage due to the thumb. but seriously what do you expect when a fighter tells the doc "I can't see in that eye....."

yeah i saw that tap that you're referring too, and i thought it was a tap out also, but the commentators right away said that kimbo was showing that he was okay.. and he was fine.. so i just assumed that was some sort of mma type of thing that i didn't know about.. i didn't think it was controversial though, as kimbo was actually fine..

We watched this at our house party tonight. That dudes ear was the shit, made the show!!! LOL And every time he got hit, he looked like the Jim Carey 1/2 of the Dumb and Dumber dudes, but just a little sleepy and dopier. Kimbo Slice wasn't much. I think he gets fugged and hurt or put to sleep if he fights someone more skilled.

That stoppage was a drag. Buddy wanted to fight and was capable I believe, just said the wrong thing I guess to the doc? Fooking stoopid fans, can't believe they were booing that fight, it was the best one...I'd like to watch the rematch and I am no MMA fan.

James Thomsons ear was perfectly normal a year or two back when I saw him fight. He must have done some serious grappling for his ear to turn to much like that ! lol

I finally got to see the fight! it was on channel 7 but they showed it here in the west coast 3 hours late.

Kimbo lost that fight! they had that fight rig!

They should of ended it in the second round. Kimbo was defensless for atleast 1 and a half minute. James was ground and pounding him, the ref is a bitch he wanted kimbo to win. After the round he was like, ooh the punches weren't really hitting him wtf kinda of ref is that?

James won that plus the stoppage was premature. He got stunned like that numerous times and he didnt even go down. In the second round he was stun the same way but won the round by beating kimbo in the ground.

I think Kimbo lacks heart and that would be his downfall. once he gets taken deep he is done. James is not even that good of a fighter and look at kimba during the interview he look like a defeated fighter.

kimbo was lucky for sure they stage that for him to win. Nobody gave james no chance. I don't think kimbo will be a champion.

the only reason kimbo wasnt defending was cuz thompson had neutralized his arms, it wasnt like kimbo was too hurt to defend, also thompson wasnt really doing much damage, thats what the ref meant


and i dont think the stoppage was awful, the mans ear had just exploded and he was nearly out on his feet when the ref stepped in



kimbo had a tough fight but he looked off from the beginning, he was moving and punching real slow, bas rutten said online after the fight that kimbo was doing things that he trained not to do everyday, he said maybe kimbo was nervous

Kimbo did just fine..... He went from a backyard bare knuckle fighter last year to fighting pro, even though Thompson isint upper rung, he still is more experienced and skilled. Kimbo used textbook escapes on the ground and his BJJ looked pretty dam good for a novice, he got hung up on the fence a little. Like Sal mentioned his hands were tied up so he couldnt defend but still was tucking his head, Thompson wasnt landing shit but less then pitty patty punches.. Who ever said Kimbo has no heart is a MORON, how dosent he have heart? What a idiotic typical statement made by the usual bunc around here. Did Kimbo give up? Did he quit? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO explain lack of heart to me.

Kimbo is very raw but fought at every range tonite and transitioned well through everything James posed to him.

The stoppage was perfect, bleeding ear, his eyes werent there, I'm sorry but they werent. James showed great heart for getting through the early firestorm. his head was hung up and bobbing around Ala Castillo Vs Coralles. Kimbo gutted out a tough fight, end of
