The hardest words to spell...

I can spell most of the long difficult words easily. But what happens to me is I run into these freakish mental blocks. I will all of a sudden not remember how to spell a word like 'said' or 'with' and the most basic and commonly used words. For some reason they momentarily just look wrong, or strange. This just me?

No I get that sometimes. Maybe not with such common words

But sometimes a word can look wrong when its typed (maybe depending on the font used) but it looks right when wrote down, and also vice versa.

No, I've done it too. Once I couldn't tie my shoes and it took a few seconds before I "remembered" how. I've also forgotten passwords to log in to websites, even though I'd log in on a daily basis.

But sometimes a word can look wrong when its typed (maybe depending on the font used) but it looks right when wrote down, and also vice versa.

I too have had that problem also. This was back in gradeschool, now I don't do much writing on paper, just typing.

Words like 'canceled' because I get confused as to whether or not they have 1 'l' or 2. I finally just memorized that one but there are more and there is no hard-and-fast rule.
