I absolutely loathe the officiating in the NHL. At least in the NBA the refs throw the games because of Mob ties, in the NHL they're simply arbitrary or incompetent.

I hate the way the NHL is reffed. Not that the Wings didn't deserve a penalty, but the refs let so much go in the overtime it's ridiculous.

It just seems inconsistent the way it's reffed, you never know what they are going to let go or what is fair play, although the last one was an easy call to make and the right one obviously. Still, lots of tense power play time and I didn't think any of it was warranted.
