That letter is all well and good, if it indeed is true... Having watched the fight it really isn't clear to me what Oner's actions really were, maybe I wasn't paying attention to him specifically, though he could be seen ringside. But if he was simply yelling "stop the fight", it seems bizzare that any ringside official would take that as a sign to ring the bell ending the round, unless some "home" cooking had already been arranged.. Regardless you would think that had he wanted the fight stopped and instead the round ended halfway, he would've pressed the issue further rather than let his man come out for round 7? I think he is most likely just trying to cover his ass when really Williams was not supposed to have a fair shake. The referee was poor, but that 6th round by far overshadows anything he did as far as contraversy.
