When you're on a jury, you're part of the people who make a decision on whether someone who is being charged for a crime is guilty or not.
Civil Lawsuits as well. Juries largely control the outcome of a case, as well as punishment or recovery. It is a cool job but you don't get paid anything and you are forced to do it.
