yep, i'd have to agree..
we talked about them very briefly in the "question about pulver/faber" thread, but you didn't miss anything if you didn't read it..
I'd have to agree no the Torres fight.. that guy is awesome, and that fight was awesome in general.. Torres didn't stop fighting for a second even when he was on the ground.. and i think that he really damaged the other guys eye if you look at his response to one of those straight shots to his closed eye.. hope there isn't any permanent damage..
Faber is a beast, and no one will beat him in this weight class.. He was all Floyd Mayweather-esque with his sharp and quick as hell right hand leads, and pulver had no answer for them at ALL.. Those were the punches that wore him down.. and after the third round's onslaught there was no way that pulver would be able to muster up a big enough attack to get Faber out of there..
I really don't see a reason for a rematch.
I would love to see faber vs pulver 2 that was a hell of a fight and it was a decision I could watch 5 more rounds. faber had a step in hand speed and foot speed but I haven't seen anyone go toe to toe in wrestling with faber plus pulver had his moment.
Torres is just a mean bastard in there, looks like he really enjoys beating people up.
Something I don't like about Faber. Not sure what.
Faber really impressed me with his striking. That was supposed to be Pulvers chance and he was definately getting the worse of it. If that fight doesn't make Faber the #1 fighter under 155 and P4P ranking I don't know what does. I'd really like the see him in against Kid Yamato/JC/Aoki
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
jens was too conservative and too respectful fo faber's power. he didn't seem to fight with a sense of urgecy and he didn't seem to be throwing very hard shots.
and he should have.
he showed that when he did push the pace he WAS landing good shots, and faber, as strong as he is, didnt pose much of a ground threat. jens should have read that.
but hats off to faber. top ntch fighter.
