I'm surprised at how many people think Cotto is going to rely on his boxing ability moreso then banging Margarito out. Or at least how many of them think if he brawls that he loses.

The way I see it Cotto has the faster hands on the inside that he can well afford to go inside and try to impose himself on Margarito maybe even move him back some. Margarito really doesn't have a good inside punch other then the uppercut. Granted Cotto is seemingly open to the uppercut but it's still a slow punch.

I'm torn on how he wins but I've got little doubt that he does. Just think he's the better fighter and when Cotto gets hurt it's with punches that come out of nowhere and Margarito just doesn't have anything like that.

^ Yeah I agree, I think he can mix in some of the boxing and moving but he doesn't have to rely on that, he's got the better defense and shorter straighter quicker punches that he can use on the inside.

Cotto by UD or TKO. I see him mixing it up - taking it to Margarito, boxing him, taking a few rounds off and when he finds the right openings (which he will) working the hell out of Tony.

This is the problem for Cotto. He's open for the uppercut and that's one of Tony's best punches. Cotto has been hurt by lesser punchers than Margo and if he fights on the inside, he's bound to get caught a few times.
