Who is these top competition. Aside from Castillo and Corrales, Floyd hasn't fought anyone significant as of late. I mean if you count Judah, that is arguable. Floyd's recent opponents are Gatti, Mitchell and Judah. And niether Gatti or, Judah or Mitchell were the best at 140 or 147 when he fought them.Originally Posted by outspoken

No one is hating on Floyd, but the facts still stands that Margarito is the best fighter at 147 and if Floyd doesn't face the best fighter at 147 he will simply be mocking true boxing fans. And this would have been tantamount to Trinidad fighting Joppy and moving on to Roy Jones knowing fully well that Bernard Hopkins was the man at 160.
