Alright they mate.I used to box as a local ABC Amateur from the age of 9or10 back in the day.I boxed for a few years until the local gym(ABC Boyswelfare Gym)in the North-east of the U.K closed down.It open again now and it has been for a few years now.I've always trained in me garage by having sessions on the heavy bag and speed-ball and skips as well as execise bike and me rowing machine too.I've been asked to go back to me old gym a few time by one of the gym trainers(He's sound as a pound like). The gym has and still is producing really top quality boxers, three of which have just turned pro(Mark and Craig Denton"The Bruise Brothers!",and Chris Burnton("Hightower")Matchroom are signing a contract with them so their fights will be shown on Sky Sports1 more often than usual..Im thinking of taking up maybe White Collar Boxing when it comes around.I'll have to get fit first though.
Your 6'1" too!!Good hight....i just wish i could get down to me good old 12 and a half to 13 stone again. Its going to take blood sweat and tears.....again...oh well it'll be worth it.I've been down that same road again!!
I'll keep an eye out for the name!
My fight is against a bloke from London or Manchester I believe.
It's always tough to get back into it, but at the end of the day, if you want it, you know you'll be really happy when you attain it!
I train with Olympic BC in Galway Ireland and I also train with Ken Horan's gym.
True i know i'll feel great when i get in tip-top shape...i've been there before. This time im keeping on top of thing when i do get in great shape.I fact im going jogging again tonight to make sur.I do loads of runs.I've always have for donkey of years now.You should see the flight of steps that i run up half way through me run.......theres about 70steps in total and each step is a foot (12")in depth,so you have to really throw your legs up high on each step....."IT'S A F$%^ING KILLER!!!ha!I go up them three times too!
