Default I have a feeling Cotto had a trick up his sleeve

I have a feeling Cotto had a trick up his sleeve during the promotional tour.
With the tour over and with about two months, maybe less, left in terms of REAL training... I know that's not enough time to get ready for a great fight.

Just look at how in shape Cotto was and look at how chubby Tony's face was.
There were discussions on this in earlier threads. And Margarito enjoyed the tour
and was looking foward to training the whole time.... but he didn't train. heh
Well at least his chubby face said so.

Cotto looks ready to kill already.

He's been there and done that.... with promotional tours. He's always in shape.
He's always professional and prepared... guys
I JUST KNOW HE TRAINED DURING THE PROMOTIONAL TOUR!!!!

    And Margarito had ice cream.

Tony has always been a big ww, now he is getting older he may have to move up soon. BUT, he has had no problems making weight his last three fights, this last fight against Cintron he looked better than ever not sucked up and not overweight. All the color was in his face. Yeah he likes his desserts, who knows when that will take effect....also this is the payday he has been looking for, do you really think he would come all this way to not come correct?

    Yeah I hope your right.

Cause I'm rooting for Margarito in this one. Cotto's extremely good at making everyone look average or closer to.

    Cotto is always in shape.

I've heard he trains in his interim periods also, just so he doesn't blow up.

I don't think Cotto really trained for Gomez, at least not like he trained for Mosley. I agree that Tony is looking chubby and Cotto is looking lean. I think Tony trained very hard for Kermit and Tony needed a little rest. I think Cotto began working out as soon as he got off the plane after his sparring session with Gomez. I know I would have done that knowing I will soon have to fight with a Tonardo

He trained for Gomez alright, but he was experimenting with new ideas and strategies, that much was evident.

I feel this will stand to him in the Margarito fight where he will have to switch tact several times.

I want add something else gyrokai , when Cotto fought with Gomez , he made an Intense Training with a Preamble for the fight with Margaro , i made a post about this before the Topic name was Cottos Interview 3-13-08 , the name of his workout trainer was Phil Landman .............

But theres no trick bro....and i agree with you , Cotto is ready to kill already , im telling you man he now is training for comes with others new skills , more Stamina , more boxing , improving more his defensive and etc......we would see then..................

Macho's right, Cotto has developed and is continuing to do so.

I think after the Torres fight he realised that he could make life easier on himself by boxing his way through fights and he strives to become a faster more accurate puncher each fight.
