On one hand I can understand Molitor wanting to move if he feels his boxing career is going to be limited to fighting at Casino Rama. On the other, I don`t want to see him get chewed up and spit out. I guess time will tell.
He had a contract in front of him for a unification, essentially in his hometown no less. His career wasn't being limited, he just went for the quick money.
That`s how it appears at first glance, but he is a smart guy. I am fairly sure there is a lot more that is going on then we see. Is why I feel we need to wait a bit and let this play out. Atleast that is how I feel before I go making a judgement on it.
Fair enough, it just seems like he made a rash decision when some money was flashed in front of him, especially considering his new promoters reputation. His old promoter did an excellent job of building interest in him nationwide, I'd hate to see that interest squandered and I'd also hate to see the guy who spent a lot of time and money building that interest get screwed over.

He can kiss his career goodbye. No other promotor will do business with Murad Muhammad.

Here's a couple of articles I found after 10 seconds of searching:

Debt Collectors Chasing Murad Muhammad - Boxing News

ESPN - Suite life for Pacquiao as he prepares for bout - Boxing

Wow. That is disappointing. It certainly does make it sound like a money grab, and a sort of stupid one with that guy writing the cheques.

I'm curious to know what CMM thinks of this.
