An ipod is awesome for versatility. you can even D/L an interval timer for it. i got one from someone on here, the D/L...can't remember who tho.

Yea maybe, not sure. was Beevs Interval Timer. I still have it on my desk top. I had to convert it. I founda few more looking around also. I use it for skipping and bag work at home mostly.
Theres a very good line of thought that music distracts the senses, which Im begining to agree with as regards movement.
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....

alright they mate!Interesting point!!!I'd like to get some true evidence on that matter.It is really interesting to think about it.I mean if it was sciencetifically proven then i would be willing to train without music or at least less of it.Ido like having a bit of music when im jogging and i feel it helps tonnes but the matter you have just mentioned,what method of training are you on about in regards of your senses being distracted?Is it bag training or speedball training?
My gym usually plays Japanese trance but its so quiet that I dont even notice it when training.
Any music that isnt jazz, or Nu Metal (which MMA fans/practitioners seem to love) is fine with me.
