I was doing a little research on PW Herman. I guess they found a bunch of 18th or 19th century porn/erotica pictures in his house, maybe some kids were in it or something. the pee wee character wasnt developed for children, it was something he came up with for some adult oriented comedy act or something and i think someone saw him and decided to market it to children
