What do you guys think about the Flyweights?

lol yeah scratch that. Its was really foolhardy of me to question that. Being a fan of combat sports and watching with buddies, i know it better than anyone else..if they dont see a knockout within 5 minutes the channels being changed.

But i'd consider you much more than a casual fan, and even you yourself will admit, its a lower rung on the ladder of boxing, in terms of popularity. In your opinion, What would it take for that to change?

I think theres too many weight classes, and down that low the seperation is small. You take a dump and your in a different weight class.

As far as watching , hell yeah the lower weights are funner to watch IMO. Just less superstars.

LOL..serios, a dump seems like thats all it takes and yeah i agree, the number of weight classes dilute the talent pool.

and im glad someone thinks the fights are an excitement.

Difficult division to follow because of the lack of television coverage.

However I would gladly watch a flyweight fight, particularly a Donaire fight.

Super Flyweights are brilliant

I like the flyweight division and to expand on what CutMeMick said, I think some of the Light Flyweights will be moving up there soon, It's kinda like 140 lb division right now not horrible but not nearly as deep as the 135 or especially 147.
