    Default Skelton vs Peter???

Yesterday it was reported Matt Skelton pulled out of his bout against Sinan Samil Sam for the European Heavyweight Title, citing a virus infection!

Is it a coincidence that Frank Warren has been courting WBC champion Samuel Peter to defend his title at the O2 Arena on July 12th?

I know nothing really came about of these talks with Peter, but since Haye turned down Warrens offer to fight Skelton, and now he's pulled out of his scheduled bout with Sam, have Sam Peter's people agreed terms with Warren to fight Skelton?

Or is this just a genuine illness for Skelton?

Sorry if this has been mentioned already.

Actually I forgot to add that Warren DID agree a bout for Peter to defend against Skelton or Harrison, but no announcement was made and it seemingly just went off the radar.

Its not of great interest anyway. Neither fighter would deserve the shot and Peter SHOULD beat them both.

Can't help but think that given the chance Audley might get abit lucky and somehow win the belt off Peter

Rogan from Prize fighter could join that, at least he'd give it a go!

    Hmm...I really don't know.

And by the way....for anyone interested in British heavies; Derek Chisera is rubbish.

Audley will be offered the chance over skelton.

Its all about whether he is brave enough to take the challenge head on or is going to add another calamitous decision to his already laughable career.

Skelton-Peter would be a train wreck.

Audley is meant to be fighting Martin "prizefighter" Rogan in July.. Rogan pulled out of an Irish card for this apparently

Danny is fighting Fat John McDemott for the British next

So if Peter is coming to London, Skelton it must surely be

Rogan was due to fight on the Dunne undercard I think...

He could have been facing a much younger opponent in the form of Timlin or Perez, so I think that tells us where Audley's at.

We don't really need telling where Audley is at - He's finished.

I bet he stops Rogan though.

Rogan would just wanna fight from the moment the 1st bell went.

An out and out slugfest right from the word go.

If he wasnt able to have harrison out of there by 3 it would be a foregone conclusion...but still would be great fun and would sell to the british public!!

I don't think Rogan has the size (he punches very short, no?), speed, power (even for Audley's china-chin) or ability to do anything other than bowl into Audley's chest and get held.

I'll be cheering him on though.
