From wear the ref was standing I am sure the stoppage seemed like the right call and I'm not so sure it wasn't.

Like Mar said a few posts above me, Powell was slackin' in his mackin' and allowed himself to fall victim to the ref.

Latimore won't amount to a row of beans. IMO.

Has there ever been a feather fisted Colombian fighter?

Anyway I just don't see it with Quillin at all, everyone else on here is much higher on him than me. Maybe its like Amat said about he lacks amateur experience, but he should take about ten more of these type fights to improve before he steps up much at all cause he's raw.

I can't believe Teddy didn't talk more about his jab, in that he just doesn't throw it. At all. And when he does its a really poor jab. So he just relies on leaping right hands and hooks from outside. And for all Teddy goes on about a fighter needing to know his identity, I can't believe he didn't say that about Quillin, what kind of fighter is he, a pressure fighter, a boxer, right now I see a guy that doesn't have an inside game and who just relies on leaping hooks and straights. Teddy at least mentioned the Freddy Kruger analogy so he does deserve some credit.

Lattimore kicked the shit out of Powell, Powell just didn't know what to do. Lattimore's gonna have to keep on protecting his chin though.
