I hopes so Diane , that this fight comes ...............
Cotto must know that this is his great opportinity...............
good to see you Diane..........
I'm hoping Joel Casamayor-Juan Manuel Marquez happens.
"On Sept. 13 (HBO PPV) at Las Vegas' MGM Grand, Casamayor will defend the Ring lightweight championship against former junior lightweight champ Juan Manuel Marquez.
"We will put together a very solid card which will pay tribute to the Mexican Independence Day weekend," Schaefer said.
He added that fighters such as featherweight titleholder Chris John, former junior lightweight titlist Jorge Barrios and ex-lightweight beltholder Jesus Chavez could be on the card."
GBP is nuts... Chris John as undercard of a JMM main event? Isn't it Chris John defeated JMM before? GBP disrespecting Chris John bigtime...

Oh my...hide the frigging childrenNiiice ones inbound here, should they come off.Diaz Vs.Kats will be ultra exciting.....I like Katsidis.Marquez Vs. Casamayor would actually be a good fight....Both watching the sunset on careers and here Marquez will have to play aggressor, I'm not sure about the move up in weight though...Still,I like Marquez to rebound after Narrow Pac Loss ,whats new. Both literally fighting for relevant future.David Haye with GBP....thats a good thing, must admit all of his bluster and rambling has me wanting to see his official/unofficial Heavy debut....and him eating left hooks lol...Mosley Vs. Mora...ugh,Im running to the bathroom

I don;t think most people know Chris John though. Hell I haven't seen him in very many fights myself.
Kindof like Injin Chi or whatever, it is a name you hear alot but I never get to see the fights in action because they are in the East (that was a dumb example but you know what I am saying.)
"If there's a better chin in the world than Pryor's, it has to be on Mount Rushmore." -Pat Putnam.
But the record remains the same, fact is Chris John defeated Juan Manuel Marquez... The least GBP could give to Chris John is equal billing with his victim JMM... Not as undercard of a JMM fight...
BTW if John and JMM fights again, I pick John to defeat JMM again...
.
Some good match-ups there.
Katsidis/ Diaz is a must!
What is John doing on a card to celebrate Mexican Independence day?
Not really interested in Mosley/ Mora. Much rather see Mosley/ Cotto 2 (Mosley fought well enough to deserve a rematch) but I think the boss DLH will get in 1st. At least if Mosley defeats Mora he gets one up on Forrest!
Imagine if JMM beats Casamayor then has a rubber match with Pacquiao with the 135 pound championship on the line! They would have fought each other fought the linear 126, 130 & 135 championships.
Interested to see who Hayes opponent will be...

Mosley - Mora could be interesting. Mora seems to be working his way through the geriatric ward, beating up the old men. I see Mosley as a much biggest test than Forrest though, however Mora should have a pretty decent size advantage.
I'm looking forward to a Casamayor/ Marquez fight. Although I would prefer to see Casamyor fight Campbell, Marquez is a top rated P4P fighter.
As for Marquez/ John 2 I can't see it happening for a number of reasons. The main one being that John will get his a** handed to him!
