I played about 4 or 5 fights and said that was enough for me. I didn't even give the CAB a try. When I first get a game I usually go into the exhibition mode first just so I can get use to the button changes and everything before I start a Career mode I didn't even get that far because I thought the game was shite. The way the boxers throw punches reminds me a Simulation game, it looks so forced and feels like it also. To me the graphics do not even compare to FN3.

I guess we both have our different opinions. Anyone who wants the game can go to ebay and buy my copy because mines listed there.
Try Career trust me, You learn the fundamentals there

I have seen the bad reviews but a friend of mine who is a boxer said that the game feels more like boxing than FN3 in that you are setting up the punches rather than just being the quickest (in an arcade way).

I'm gonna give it a go and I have read that the game starts slow but after training your fighter up it gets more responsive.

Thanks for the reciew Countryboy its made up my mind as too buying it.

Aright I rented this game, I will say this the controls are definately not as good as fight night much less intuitive and more Mortal Kombat like.
The phantom punch thing is very frustrating.

The career mode is much better than fight night though, the story is like watching a documentary which is very cool. There are a lot of current great fighters.

All in all I actually liked it better than most of the reviewers I read about online, but probably not as much as CountryBoy. I probably will buy it though as I'm getting tired of destroying the computer on FNR3. One of these days I'll get Xbox Live.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Have bought this game and really like it. Great Graphics and the controls are fine once you get used to them. Not played online yet gonna wait til I get better.

Well worth the money andmore realistic in that you have to judge the distance and get the timing of the punches right.
