TIM RUSSERT DIES FROM APPARENT HEART ATTACK - New York Post
Not familiar with the mans work but 58 is a young age to die.
I liked Tim, he was a very knowledgeable political analyst. This is indeed a shock to me and millions of other fans. RIP Tim.
It's a shame...I always loved watching Russert. He was beholden to no party and questioned everyone with the same intensity but you could still see that he was a kind generous guy. I always liked when he was on Imus. He was a great political analyst and seemed to be a great person as well...he wasn't smug or cocky unlike other political pundits
R.I.P. God Bless Tim Russert
He was a complete and utter pumpkinheaded prick. Another bendy boy for the establishment.
...as always a classless jackass...bravo Kirkland you're a credit to your race....the Martians are well known for their jackassery
Having viewed your picture when clicking your profile page to pm you I can understand why you want to stick up for pumpkinheaded pricks. The fact remains he was a total waste of space as one of the Pravda-like US media's top "journalists."
Instead of pming this I'll just post it here.
You have no couth Kirkland...I'll leave it at that
Russert was a true professional to his trade & very well studied....A rarity in todays political Arena.Sunday AM's on tube will not be the same,RIP Tim.
...no you're just a fucking jackass
Anyone to the right of Keith Olberman and you're probably thinking "Oh he's just a talking head for Bush"....you don't know shit about anything you arrogant prick.
Tim Russert never played favorites in politics, he grilled people for answers and when they tried to spin something on them he owned them but in a very sincere and pleasant way...by showing the person in question and when they said something completely different to what they were trying to feed him at the moment. Tim Russert was a great man and great political pundit.
As for you Kirkland...I'll not say anything when you pick on Rush or Hannity or Boortz or whoever has an agenda....Russert had no agenda he just wanted to get politicians talking open and honestly and you have no class and we all know that but you come in here and try to show off for everyone anyway.....go fuck yourself KL...it may have been OK for you to debate me for a while but this type of crap has me 100% sick of you....you never bring anything but a fatalistic attitude and your lack of couth and stubborness is old....your act is tired and I can only hope that maybe someday you can realize what a fuckhead you are and maybe you can change your life around so no one wants to kill themselves whenever you talk to them you piece of garbage.

Russert wasn't a professional journalist. He was a lawyer who became a Washington political operative and befriended the CEO of GE, one of America's largest corporations. He sent Russert to run NBC, a GE company and source of less than 3% of GE's total profit. Russert's job was to make sure NBC was generally positive about and never really questioning of the government, government contracting representing 40% of GE's income. He was also GE's eyes and ears in Washington, GE investing billions in lobbying administrations obviously wanting to know what's going on.
Everything you watch is run by five guys, all of whom with exactly the same outlook. Russert was emblematic of the moment when US news media stopped asking questions the government didn't want to answer. It's a personal tragedy for the family and everything but Russert was no journalist. He just played one on TV. He was a corporate lawyer with a powerful friend and a fraud and an imposter on the telly.
