is this fight off? As I'm going to another show (in wolverhampton) on the same night but its just said on the wolverhampton civic website to arrive earlier as that show is now being filmed by sky, but friday fight night was sposed to be elcock vs mcdermott. Surely its not been postponed again.

sorry to answer my own question but just found out that the elcock vs mcdermott fight has been moved from coventry and added to the top of the bill of the wolverhampton show! Which is great news for me! It truly is gonna be a battle of the midlands, and with many other wolverhampton/black country boxers on the bill mcdermott could feel that home advantage and maybe pull it off.

Which is great news for me! It truly is gonna be a battle of the midlands, and with many other wolverhampton/black country boxers on the bill mcdermott could feel that home advantage and maybe pull it off.

Yeh I heard they merged the 2 shows which is great news for local fans as now they don't have to miss anything.

Yeah like me its great! A lot of people round this way are really looking forward to tonight, its got quite a bit of media coverage (local news, local papers which usually practically ignore boxing) and the feeling is the elcock macca fight could go either way.

I had a 10 minute car journey to the Skydome and now well, I don't fancy an hour plus trip on the M6 on Friday evening to get to Wolverhampton!

Should be a good fight, but one I'll be watching from my armchair.
