Fight Club is truely brilliant.
It's worth multiple viewings for the quotes alone (credit to Chuck Palahniuk of course)

I thought fight club was excellent. The anti-materialism/anti-corporation message of the imaginary Tyler Dyrdan, the dark comedy of the protagonist who must go to meetings with the terminally ill just to sleep and the violence is insane.
The author of fight club, Chuck Palunik has several other great books.

I do get the anti-commercialism message, but I already undstand and get that pretty well on it's own, so I guess maybe that message feel on deaf ears a bit..
I'm sure reading the book would come across a LOT more complete and I would probably get it all a little better...
One movie that is a little hard to understand,,,, well,,,, a lot hard to understand but is competely freakin awesome is Donnie Darko...
That's a trip of a movie, which probably has no message, and may not even be there to be understood. But it's cool.. The randomness of that movie really works!
The twists in fight club kind of feel like a real stretch. Like it's supposed to be clever, but you're just kind of like, ahhh, okay, fine then, he's both guys... The first time I watched it when I was 16 I would have said it was awesome! But now i've watched it for something a little more,,, it just doesn't provide.
