I don't know how I feel about this fight...

Anyone excited about this? I would've much rather seen Shane fight Mora.
And I Judah. Damn you Jill Mosley

Which weight would this fight take place at? Shane is wasting his time with Mayorga, a win over Ricardo does nothing for his career and if you can make 147 easily, why not fight the winner of the Judah Clottey fight,Williams, Marg v Cotto winner, etc? Don't really see the logic.

I wouldn't mind seeing this fight. Mayorga is always entertaining to watch and although he is not exactly elite, he is a tough fight for anybody. Judah is not exactly cream of the crop these days either so I don't see how he would be any better for Shane's legacy. Nevertheless, I think Shane would have been better off just giving Zab an extra month or whatever and they would have been fighting within the next month or so. Now he has to wait several more months and it will be almost a year layoff by the time he gets back in the ring. That's bad enough as it is and Shane ain't getting any younger....
