i am assuming that they correspond to the usual 1=jab 2= cross 3=left hook etc with maybe a right hook or overhand thrown in amongst the left and right upper cut. still say when you go fro a human you won't be aiming straight down the pipe but off to the side like..unless you are fighting the calf-headed man..

Thats what i thought at first but if you watch and listen to the video and audio clips then 1-left hook and 7-left jab

The obvious number system would be
1=Jab
2=Cross
3=Hook
4=R.Hook
5=R.Uppercut
6=Uppercut
7=Jab Body
8=Cross Body
9=Hook Body
10=R.Hook Body
11=R.Uppercut body
12=Uppercut Body.

But in Tysons day, Atlas trained entirely combos.
1234 was 1-2-Hook-Cross
2345 was Cross Hook R Hook Straight
The numbers differentiated.

now thats what we all need throw out your old numbering, relearn a new one or better yet follow mine i have 365 numbers one for each degree of a circle to hit your opponent...bag design i like, numbering is a waste. but a pen and write on your own bag better yet use colors and make it a happy bag then beat it till they all run together ...

I agree that the numbers are retarded, but the shape of it seems kind of cool. Id like to try throwing some uppercuts at it, but i wouldnt pay for it.
