Although Manny will have a disadvantage because he will be moving up in weight class, I think he (Manny) wins this fight.

pac will be fighting a man who would hit twice as hard as he has ever been punched before.
He wouldnt be able to stand and trade like he has done throughout his career at 140 pounds.
As a hatton and pac fan id have to say id be extremely surprised if pacquiao lasted the full 12 rounds!!

I think Hatton bullies his way inside and stops Pac man to the body just carnt see Hatton losing this fight.
Hope this goes ahead. Will be a bloodbath. I thought Pacquaio would have rematched Marquez first though.

this is a pointless fight, Hatton would get no credit for a win and a loss against hatton would only show that Pacman doesn't belong at 140.

Pac-Hatton this november?..
Nah... too early. Next spring maybe.
I wouldn't mind seeing this fight happening, assuming Pac looks good against Diaz, but Hatton needs to fight Malignaggi at some point. Paulie has earned his shot at Hatton.
Some people really knock the idea of the fight, and they always cite that Pac started at Flyweight. The guy had barely hit puberty when he started boxing pro. Just his natural growth and maturation took him to probably 122. If he would have a had a European or American style amateur career, he would have probably turned pro at 20 at 122. It's not such a stretch to think that he has gone up to being a legit 135lb fighter in 10 years. And that leaves him only one proper weight division below Hatton. The size difference, in relative terms, is pretty similar to Mayweather fighting ODLH at 154 or Oscar fighting Hopkins at 160. Thinking about it, it's probably more similar to Oscar against Hopkins, because Hopkins was such a large middleweight and Oscar started at 135.

Ricky Hatton has dismissed suggestions he is ready to ditch his scheduled showdown with IBF light-welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi in November in favour of a big-money clash with Manny Pacquiao. Reports from the Philippines suggest the Hatton camp are to pay step-aside money to Malignaggi Read Full Story >>> HATTON DENIES PACQUIAO REPORTS | Sporting Life - Boxing News | Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan, Carl Froch, Oscar De La Hoya, Joe Calzaghe, Manny Pacquiao, Kelly Pavlik
Hatton turned down (or not entertaining) 2 megafight offers in succession just recently. He turned down a DelaHoya fight and now turned down a Pacquiao fight.
It seems Hatton is so obsessed with Paulie even if the Paulie fight is nothing in comparison to DelaHoya or Pacquiao fight.
De la Hoya is to big, Pac is to small !!
if PAC destroys Diaz and looks really strong then maybe a fight next year but for now there is not many people for Hatton to fight he may aswell walk through Paulie in November and see what happens at WW
