Spain really is the Zab Judah of international football, so despite going public with a prediction of them to win the whole thing, I am still afraid they will break down spectacularly at the latter stages. Coming back yesterday after a week there, I can affirm they (the population) really do seem confident this time round though. Oh, and David Villa is a quite well-liked fellow these days btw.

Also I will apologise for attempting to correct you on Podolski/Klose. That was very stupid of me, seeing as I was only half-watching the game anyway (and somehow misunderstod the commentators, I think). I sent some rep [limited due to my measly punch power] your way to make up for it.

I'm an Argentina fan, I would actually consider them more of the Zab Judah to football.

At least they've won the world cup twice and a shitload of regional tournaments, which is a whole lot better than Spain, but I see where you are coming from.

I think Portugal will get the best out of Germany. I havent been convinced of Germanys playing and I think Portugal has looked well. If Portugal can maintain possesion of the ball and control their ground game they can nullify the Germans air game which they've been able to do in the past.
